The KO2 DT is BFGoodrich's beefed-up version of the KO2, built for heavier duty trucks that actually work for a living. They stiffened up the tread compound and sidewall so it shrugs off the punishment a loaded truck dishes out on gravel, mud, and rock. This is an all-season all-terrain tire, not a show pony.
